Certification for Organic pig farmer
Old Style Organic in Myrniong recently became the first producer of organic smallgoods, certified by the National Association for Sustainable Agriculture (NASAA). The firm's small goods produce includes cacciatore salami, ham, pancetta, capocollo and bacon. Mr Duftey and wife Tina have been in the pig business for the past nine years and are committed to nature, the environment and sustainability. The farm is set to expand from the original two pigs, to the present 60 and next year up to 150, varieties include Wessex Saddlebacks and Duroc.
