Hillside industrial estate development

Council has continually received expressions of interest from businesses wishing to relocate, expand existing operations or start up new operations in the Bacchus Marsh region.

As a result of the increased demand Council undertook a feasibility analysis on a large parcel of its land located in the Hillside Industrial Estate, Bacchus Marsh, through the financial assistance of the State Government for further subdivision and development.

The analysis indicated strong interest in the land by the private sector and is now seeking to develop this land to cater for the growing demand for industrial land within the Bacchus Marsh region. Further development of the Hillside Industrial Estate will increase investment, employment opportunities and diversify the business base of the region.
