Businesses begin building at Kennedy Place Industrial Estate

With civil construction one of Council's largest ever infrastructure projects, the Kennedy Place Industrial Estate, now complete, some business construction has commenced.

Companies who have already secured land at the Kennedy Place Industrial Estate are busy planning their new facilities and getting construction of these facilities underway.

Moorabool Shire Council received over $1 million in State Government funding to develop the fully-equipped Kennedy Place Industrial Estate in Bacchus Marsh.

Council was determined to see the development through to fruition because it is fully aware of the many short- and long-term benefits the Estate will bring to the Shire in terms of economic growth and employment.

Due to its proximity to major Victorian cities, affordability and access to transport services, Bacchus Marsh is more and more becoming a place where businesses and investors wish to live, work and invest.

In developing Kennedy Place Industrial Estate, Council is confident the Estate will provide larger premises for expanding local businesses, while at the same time attract new businesses to the Shire.

With five out of 16 lots at the Kennedy Place Industrial Estate already purchased, the Estate is proving popular with businesses and investors from within and outside of Moorabool.  

That in addition to expected good vehicle access once the Anthony's Cutting diversion is completed is also a key attraction of the Estate.
